Mavis Gary, a threatening teen serial ghost writer, got caught up in his high school nostalgia as prom queen. When knowing his ex-girlfriend, Buddy, was now happy with his new wife and baby, Mavis believed it was a sign they were meant to be together. He returned to the city of his birth with a mission to take Buddy from his new life-- no matter how absurd. In the midst of his failure, he met Matt, a high school friend who was a victim of violence and is now the only voice against his delusions.
