Amidst the turmoil of India and Pakistan, Saruti Hasan Manto, controversial author, fought to maintain his voice. After leaving Bombay his beloved, he marooned in Lahore, losing friends and readers, while alcohol slowly ruined his life. Yet, in the midst of darkness, he kept writing - without compromise, without fear. It's not just about a writer, it's about two nations born of blood and tears.
