Jessie, 17, had to face deep grief after her mother was killed in a car accident. Brought to Montana by his aunt, he fought to maintain a barrel racing dream - the only way to feel close to an almarhumah. Without a horse, his spirit didn't fade until Uncle Mick gave him a chance through a horse "useless." In the midst of school pressure and the attention of the mysterious bull rider, Jessie found new hope in a race of dust and determination.
